Endless Raymaker, DIP House Artist, underwent a transformation to get ready for the first installation of the Endless Adventure. Choosing Luna
by Endless Raymaker
I could have gone any which way, but readers were just more interested in an exploration of furry culture to get to the heart of why people seem to loathe furries. Furries are animalistic avatars in Second Life. Maybe it's not fair of me to say animalistic, as even this word choice has implications that are critical to the furry culture.
I'm starting from scratch, as I know next to nothing about the furry culture aside from the fact that the subject touches raw nerves here in Second Life. If you're interested in joining the project or providing your thoughts on furry culture, please join DIP's Ning group and become a member of the group Endless Adventure. Ning is easy and gives people a chance to be fully interactive when sharing thoughts and media.

Endless Raymaker trying on horns and stripes before changing completely from a humanoid to...less of a humanoid?
I bought a Ouija board, a new skin, shape, a devil's fork and an angel's halo. The halo is cocked off to the side above my special ibyx horns to offset the one animal ear and one human ear. A Purple Rose onyx snake choker connects me back to the thirst for human knowledge and faun legs give me a sense of losing my humanity.
There I go again. Losing my humanity. No. The golden-blonde placeholder version of me didn't feel very human to start.
The Gokoburi Bye-Bye Game (also known as the Cockroach Stomping Game, seen above) seemed like a good buy at the time. How is it played? I have no idea, but nothing unites two sides like a common enemy, and the Gokuburi Bye-Bye Game could come in handy during a border skirmish.
I also bought a sad mime skin. Or maybe it's a happy mime skin. Perhaps the package came with both. I wonder which one I'll end up wearing by the end of the project. By the time my shopping spree came to an end, I started getting skittish about my faun legs. I wanted human legs again. Would I be hobbled by my new legs, or would they help me?
Alas, I lacked the Linden for the boots I wanted so I kept my legs, but I did have just enough left for one last accessory: rose-colored glasses.
