Right before my eyes, Schmil changed from a perfectly green humanoid to a rat, and I meditated on the fact that it's still him, no matter how he might appear before me...

I never thought we'd be sharing outfits, but that's before he showed up in true blonde-bombshell mode just a few moments later, in skin-tight black leather, leaving me to wonder yet again about the many complexities of virtual identity...

And finally, during a middle-of-the-night meeting with Widget Whiteberry of the Rockridge Institute, as I felt my brain drifting between electric cycles, Schmil was back to "normal," in the form to which I am accustomed. We told Widget that our shared mission is to foster the emergence of a new global culture in the Imagination Age, and she told us that her immersion in Second Life feels like a "shared lucid dream." We eagerly anticipate learning more about the institute's mission to "democratize language," which is also a critical goal of ours.
